Das Ubermensch was the creation of multimedia artist Jon Mertz in which Pink played keyboards and percussion. Their music featured surreal electro-tribal jams topped with Mertz' cut and paste Dada Poetry. The group would perform live behind a wall of bubble wrap so that all the audience could see were amorphous figures glowing in the colored lights.
